Dunkin' Donuts Rolling Out Cold Brew Coffee
BOSTON (CBS) – Cold-brewed coffee is coming to Dunkin' Donuts, just not in Boston quite yet.
The Boston Globe reports that Dunkin' is rolling out the refreshing modern drinks in New York and Los Angeles in the coming weeks, and plans to bring them to Boston later in the summer.
Unlike iced coffee, cold brew is made by steeping coffee grounds in cold water.
This is the latest skirmish in the coffee wars between Dunkin' and Starbucks, which announced last month it would be selling a special nitro cold brew in Boston.
