Dump Truck Driver Killed In Littleton Crash Identified
LITTLETON (AP) — Authorities have identified the dump truck driver who was killed in a four-vehicle crash on Route 495 in Massachusetts.
State police identified the victim Saturday as 38-year-old Nelson Umanzor, of East Boston.
Authorities say the vehicles collided around 3:40 p.m. Friday in Littleton. The dump truck and a Kia rolled over in the roadway. Umanzor died at the scene.
The drivers of the three other vehicles and a passenger in the Kia all were treated at hospitals for minor injuries.
Route 495 was closed for more than 90 minutes.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
Littleton is located about 30 miles northwest of Boston.
