Driver Ejected, Killed In Lexington Crash
LEXINGTON (CBS) – A driver who was thrown from his car in Lexington late Monday night died Tuesday morning.
State police say 28-year-old Anthony Signoretti of Watertown was speeding on Route 2 west when he lost control of his 2008 Toyota Scion sedan, hit a guardrail, and rolled over just before midnight.
He was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, where he later died.
There was initial concern that a second person may have been in the car at the time of the crash, but police determined that Signoretti was the only one in the Toyota.
Route 2 west was closed for about three hours after the accident.
