Dozens Gather For Vigil Outside Closed East Boston Church
BOSTON (CBS) - A little rain didn't stop protesting parishioners in East Boston from holding their weekly prayer service outside on Sunday.

Parishioners at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church decided to have the service, which was held in Italian and English, outdoors after the Archdiocese locked them out of the now-closed church a few days ago.
Parishioners who have been holding vigil inside the now-closed church for the last seven years said the locks were changed without any warning.
"Nobody has reached out to us like a good shepherd should be doing," said one of the parishioners.
Protesters lost a recent church ruling. They now have 60 days to appeal to the Vatican Supreme Court.
"We're just hoping and relying on our faith God will step in and keep the church open for us," said another parishioner.
