Some neighborhoods received 1-3+". The hardes hit areas were central and north-central Massachusetts as well as southern New Hampshire.

Today, skies will become partly sunny and there will be a chance of a hit-or-miss spot storm through mid-to-late afternoon. Most of us will be dry though. High temperatures will reach the lower and middle 80s.

This evening, drier air will be working in to make for a clear and comfortable night.  Lows will dip down to the upper 50s for some interior locales, especially north and west of Boston.  Otherwise, we will have low temps in the lower and middle 60s.

Friday will be a sunny day initially followed by building clouds late as a cold front moves into New England.  These clouds may become productive in the form of storms far north and west suburbs anytime after 5 p.m. Highs will be flirting with 90!

This cold front crawls across southern New England bringing mostly cloudy skies and unsettled weather in the form of showers and storms for most of Saturday.

That being said, there will be brighter skies for cities and towns located north of the Mass. Pike as the front stalls across southeastern Massachusetts.

Sunday will be sunnier north once again and also bring improving conditions for southeastern Masssachusetts during the day.

So, Sunday is the pick day of the weekend.

Highs will be near 80 both days, 70s at the coast.

One Alarm Clock Away...
