Douglas Man Found Guilty Of Manslaughter In Wife's Death
WORCESTER - A Superior Court jury found 41-year-old Allen Stilkey of Douglas guilty of manslaughter in the death of his wife last February.
On February 10, 44-year-old Lisa Stilkey was found outside the Douglas home she shared with her husband. She had plunged from a second-story window in what Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early called, "a tragic case of domestic violence."
Testimony in the trial indicated that she was trying to escape from her husband, who had threatened to kill her.
Stilkey, who was also found guilty of threatening to commit a crime, will be sentenced on Friday. Stilkey, who is a former arm wrestling champion, is expected to plead guilty to possession of steroids at the time.
