Dorm Fire At Salem State Investigated As Arson
SALEM (CBS) - An early morning fire at Salem State University is being investigated as arson by university police.
Fire alarms went off at 1:36 a.m., forcing students to evacuate, according to Salem State University Police Chief Gene Labonte.
The fire was extinguished by the building's sprinkler system, and no one was hurt.
Investigators are interviewing students about possible suspects.
