Dorchester Man Accused Of Disrupting Mattapan Trial Has His Own Case
BOSTON (CBS) -- A Dorchester man could face up to ten years in prison for a one minute outburst.
A Suffolk County grand jury has handed up an indictment against Dennis Jones.
He's the man who stood up in court and shouted during the Mattapan drug murder trial while Kimani Washington was on the stand. Washington is accused of gunning down four people in Mattapan during a drug robbery in 2010.
Jones was forced out of the courtroom by bailiffs. He is charged with witness intimidation and was ordered held on $20,000 bail. His case now moves to Superior Court.
