Does Sleep Improve Memory And Sex?
BOSTON (CBS) - There's more evidence that a midday siesta can do you good.
A new study out of Germany asked people to memorize dozens of words and phrases, and those who took a 45-minute nap remembered more word pairs than those who stayed awake and watched a DVD instead.
A different study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine looked at the effect of sleep on a woman's sex life and they found that for each additional hour a woman slept, the likelihood that she would engage in sexual activity in the next 24 hours increased by 14 percent, stressing how important good rest is for healthy sexual function.
And what advice is there for men and their sex lives? Researchers at Cedars Sinai found that men who exercise more often enjoy better sexual function than those who exercise less.
Experts say that regular exercise is best but that any exercise is likely to provide a boost to a man's sexual function.
