Doc's Daily Shaq Update: 'He's Moving Better'
BOSTON (CBS) - There is no set date for Shaquille O'Neal's return to the Celtics, but the injured center is improving.
The fact that he traveled with the team to New York for Games three and four, and was on the court for Friday morning's shootaround, is a good start.
"I don't know the plan yet, he's moving better," Coach Doc Rivers said on Friday. "The fact that he's moving better, you bring him on the road."

O'Neal, out since March 3rd with a calf injury, has tried to make numerous returns only to be sidelined by the lingering ailment. The Celtics are unsure if he can play at full strength, but Rivers said Shaq does not need show him anything before returning to the court.
"Make some three's," joked Rivers. "I don't know what he needs to show me. He's not ready to play yet, but he's getting closer."

"There's no strategic game plan not playing him," joked Rivers. "There's a medical game plan for not playing him. But once he can play, he'll play."
"I don't think he has an expiration date, maybe he does," he continued. "We all do I guess."
