Diabetes On The Rise Among Latinos

On Thursday October 1st, 2015 the Joslin Diabetes Center's Latino Diabetes Initiative is having an event called "Ritmos de Salud" (Healthy Rhythms). Its goal is to increase awareness about the impact of diabetes on Latino children and their families. It's taking place at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter in Boston from 6PM-10PM. On this edition of Centro, WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks about the latest diabetes statistics and this special event with Dr. Enrique Caballero, Founder/Director of Joslin's Latino Diabetes Initiative.
