Derek Jeter's Top Lady Friends
BOSTON (CBS) -- Derek Jeter has dated enough beautiful women to field an All-Star lineup -- literally.
In celebrating Jeter, I think we have to take in the whole body of work by the Yankee shortstop. With that said, here are, in my humble opinion, the Top 5 women Derek Jeter has dated.
5. Mariah Carey
I'm talking a young Mariah, back in those "Dream Lover" days. You know, the "Always Be My Baby" days -- the pre-Nick Cannon days.
She was the first known love for the Jetes, and it was also when he got his first title.
4. Jordana Brewster
She was in The Fast And The Furious and her looks got everybody's heart racing. She was no Punky Brewster with her dog Brandon -- Jordana played Vin Diesel's sister in the movie, and no one really cared because she was worth the risk.
Jordana is straight pedal to the metal. Vroom Vroom!
3. Scarlett Johansson
I have to be honest, why would you move on from her?
ScarJo's looks just keep improving with age and her movies are only getting better. This was just a short relationship for Derek but... WOW!
2. Jessica Alba
Her movies alone put her on this list: Sin City, Sin City 2 (a decade-plus later), Honey. And who can forget about a young Alba in Dark Angel? All are must see.... just because of Alba.
She was also fifth in 2005 on Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list and this year she was eighth. That's staying power, baby!
1. Minka Kelly
Her looks are obvious but she was in Friday Night Lights and that was a great football show. Jeter dated her the longest and it was the first time rumors surfaced that he might be ready to settle down.
It's a shame they broke up, because they made a nice power couple.
Congratulations to the Derek Jeter on a great career and.... a great career.
