Day Four...
Day four of the heat wave was the hottest yet with the high temp reaching 95 degrees in Boston. We still don't see any change in the pattern until the weekend and that is when the heat wave will break. Until then expect more hazy, hot and humid conditions with temps going even higher tomorrow and Friday...95 to perhaps 100 degrees! Heat Index, the combination of heat and humidity, will make it feel like 100-110 degrees...dangerous for some!
Saturday afternoon an impressive coldfront will march in from the NW...along the front a line of thunderstorms capable of dangerous windgusts and lots of lightning. Following the light show, drier and cooler air will work in for Sunday and stick around through the middle of next week. The end is right around the corner...we've almost made it!
