David Pastrnak Announces Heartbreaking Death Of Infant Son
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak announced heartbreaking news early Monday morning. His infant son with girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson has died.
Pastrnak posted on his Instagram page that Viggo Rohl Pastrnak passed away five days ago on June 23. Viggo was just six days old.
"We have an Angel watching over us and we call him SON. You will be loved FOREVER," Pastrnak wrote. "Please respect our privacy as we are going through these heartbreaking times."
The Bruins issued a brief statement later Monday morning saying the players and organization were "heartbroken" by Viggo's passing.
"David and Rebecca are a part of our family and we share in their loss. Please keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy during this very difficult time," the team tweeted.
