Daniel Sedin Says Canucks "Going To Win Game 7"
BOSTON (CBS) -Maybe it was the jabs to the head courtesy of Brad Marchand at the end of the game, but Canucks foward Daniel Sedin has given the Boston Bruins some more bulletin board material as they head into Wednesday night's Game 7 in Vancouver.
"We're going to win Game 7," Sedin told the Vancouver Sun after the Bruins 5-2 Game 6 win.
Sedin feels with the Canucks heading home to Rogers Arena, things will once again turn in the Canucks favor.
"It's pretty easy because Tim Thomas has been outstanding," he said. "Still, we're 3-3 and we won all three games at home and we have the fourth game at home. So we have the seventh game at home and we'll take that. We are confident."

Thomas only gave up three goals in Boston, while surending five in the three games played in Vancouver. The problem has not been the Bruins netminder though, but lack of support from his offense. The Bruins have just two goals in Vancouver, both coming in their 3-2 overtime loss in Game 2.

The Bruins have also lacked the physical play in Vancouver that made a difference in Boston.
In the third period of Monday night, Marchand gave Sedin four gloved-jabs. He took each one, awaiting a call from the ref.
"People are going to call us soft, but what can I do?" Sedin asked the Sun after the game. "We're going to keep taking punches. That is the way we play. If the referees see it, I'm sure they'll call it."
Daniel, along with his twin brother Henrik, have just five points in six Stanley Cup games.
