Dane Cook Gets Ripped For Blocking Out Boston Strong Concert Performance
BOSTON (CBS) – Comedian and Arlington native Dane Cook was the talk of the town Friday morning after his set at the Boston Strong concert Thursday night.
The reason – no one outside the TD Garden saw it.

The concert was not televised, but it was streamed live online, until Cook came up for his standup performance.
He requested that it be taken off the stream and explained why later on Twitter:
That didn't go over well on social media. "Dane Cook" was trending on Twitter in Boston into the morning and it wasn't pretty.
Boston Herald sportswriter Jeff Howe led the charge:
For the most part, the concert didn't go so smoothly for those watching it outside the Garden.
The live web stream of the show crashed and viewers had nowhere else to turn because the concert was not televised. Some were able to find an audio stream, but well after the show had started.
"Nearly half a million people logged on to view the beginning of the show which lead to bandwidth related issues," promoter Live Nation said in a statement.
The concert raised money for The One Fund.
