Damp And Mild

A gloomy start to this Tuesday will eventually give way to sunny breaks.  Highs will top off near 70F, which is approximately 10-12 degrees above average. Pre-frontal rain/thunder develop late tonight. The chance fo scattered showers and thunder wil continue thru Wednesday as the front gets hung up due to the 500mb flow and a surface low developing along the southern boundary of the front.  Rain may linger into Thursday morning for Southern Mass. as the front slowly progresses eastward.  Sun will prevail by late thursday for our entire viewing area setting us up for a quiet end the workweek.

Halloween Weekend:  Saturday will include partly cloudy skies with highs in the low to mid 50s.  On Halloween, models are still hinting as a chance of shower.  The models are not in agreement with the timing of the showers though so I went with a slight chance of showers at this point.  We should have this narrowed down by midweek.

Atlantic Tropical Update: Tropical Depression Richard is forecast to weaken throughout the day. A tropical wave in the central Atlantic has little potential of further development.

BUS STOP FORECAST:  We want pics of your kids at the bus stop.  All you have to do is email us your pic to weather@wbztv.com along with the name(s) and town. We will show the pics every morning on WBZ News around 6:15am.
