It all started in 1621 when the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanog Indians gathered for an autumn harvest feast. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to take place every November.
Today, many of us will spend Thanksgiving day with family and friends, cooking, eating, or watching football.
