Daily Talker: Judge Orders Newborn's Name Changed From "Messiah" to "Martin". Did She Overstep Her Bounds?

While this newborn boy doesn't have famous parents -- he does have a non-traditional name.
Messiah's mother went to a Tennessee court in a paternity dispute over the child's last name.
No one saw this coming.
The judge decided the boy's first name should be changed as well from "Messiah" to "Martin".
She told TV station WBIR, "The word messiah is a title, and it's a title has only been earned by one person, and that one person is Jesus Christ."
Did the judge overstep her bounds in this case?
By the way, the child's mother is appealing the court-ordered name-change.
