D.A. Does Play-by-Play For Revolution-United Saturday at 7:30pm
BOSTON (CBS) - When the New England Revolution visit the D.C. United Saturday evening, 98.5 The Sports Hub fans will hear a familiar voice with the call.
Damon Amedolara, who you usually hear from the sidelines, is filling in for Brad Feldman this weekend, tabbed with play-by-play duties for a soccer match for the first time in 11-years. The last time DA had the call for a Futbol game was an A-League Rochester Rhinos game when he was just out of college.
As for the Revolution, they'll be looking to keep their two-game unbeaten streak alive, and avenge an early-season loss at the hands of the United. DC beat the Revs 2-1 back in April, and own a 26-23-8 record all-time against New England.
Some Revolution players to watch in this weekend's match are forward Saer Sene, who has six goals in 10 appearances for the Revs this season -- including two last Saturday against Houston -- and Shalrie Joseph, who has four career goals in 26 appearances against the United.
At 4-6-1 on the season, the Revolution currently sit in a tie for sixth place in the Eastern Conference with 13 points. The United sits in second with a 7-4-3 record and 24 points.
Tune in to the Revolution-DC United match, and all of the Revolution games this season, on 98.5 The Sports Hub!
