CytoSport Ends Endorsement Deal With Aaron Hernandez
BOSTON (CBS) - With Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez expected to face charges in connection with a murder, at least one of the football player's employers has decided to cut ties.
CytoSport announced on Friday it was ending its endorsement deal with Hernandez.
"In light of the investigation involving Aaron Hernandez, CytoSport is terminating its endorsement contract with Mr. Hernandez, effective immediately," a statement from the company said on Friday.
On Thursday, Hernandez was seen sporting a Muscle Milk hat. Muscle Milk is a CytoSport product.
