To answer the question...David is eating a peanut butter on whole wheat sandwich. Why no jelly? He says that's just too many ingredients to deal with so early in the morning.

As for driving while eating, I don't see that as particularly dangerous. Many of us drive to work drinking a coffee. It's certainly isn't as distracting as talking on a cell phone.
