12 People Displaced By Lawrence House Fire
LAWRENCE (CBS) --- Twelve people were displaced by a massive fire in a Lawrence neighborhood.
Fire broke out Thursday afternoon at 52 Monmouth Street. Families inside the home were alerted to the flames by neighbors.
The Red Cross is assisting a family of seven, including a toddler, who live on the first floor, and a family of five, who live on the second floor.
Crews were ordered outside of the building to attack from the exterior amid fears the inside floors could collapse.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
