Large Crane Tips Over In Leominster
LEOMINSTER (CBS) – A crane being used for tree work tipped over at a home in Leominster Tuesday afternoon. It happened on Overlook Drive.
Leominster Police said the crane began to tip over slowly when one of the support legs went into an old well in the ground that was not filled in. Everyone was able to get away from the crane before it fell.
A fence and portable storage unit were damaged. No injuries were reported.
