Aaron Hernandez's Cousin Pleads Not Guilty To Accessory Charge
Tanya Singleton was held without bail after entering her plea Monday to a charge of conspiracy to commit accessory after the fact.
She was already being held on a contempt charge.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to killing Odin Lloyd.
The 37-year-old Singleton was indicted on a criminal contempt charge after allegedly refusing to testify before the grand jury hearing evidence in Hernandez's case.
Singleton was indicted Friday on the accessory after the fact charge. Prosecutors say in the days after the June killing, she helped one of Hernandez's associates also charged in Lloyd's slaying, flee to Florida.
Neither she nor her attorney addressed the new charge in court.
