Cambridge Biotech Company Moderna Begins Second Stage Of Coronavirus Vaccine Study
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- Cambridge biotech company Moderna is working on a coronavirus vaccine, and they have announced that the company has begun the next step in its trials.
Moderna said it plans to inject 600 volunteers, half ages 18 to 55 and half over age 55, with the experimental vaccine for COVID-19. This is the second of three stages of testing.
Moderna became the first to launch clinical trials of a coronavirus vaccine. Researchers say it is showing promise.
