Cops Bust 'Sophisticated Drug Operation" At Bridgewater State University
BRIDGEWATER (CBS) - Four college students have now found their once-bright futures clouded by charges of drug distribution.
According to police, the four were selling marijuana, cocaine, and oxycodone out of their apartment near Bridgewater State University.
"This investigation started with the campus police, and then evolved." said Bridgewater Police Lt. Tom Schlatz. "When we executed the search warrants, we found a sophisticated drug operation."

Arrested were 21-year-old Tyler Trainor from Saugus, 21-year-old Eric Eldred from Methuen, Bradley Head of Ashby and according to police, the ringleader, 20-year-old Patrick McGirr of East Longmeadow.
Police say the drugs found in the Perkins Street apartment were worth almost $20,000. They also found $7,000 in cash in McGirr's bedroom closet.
Both Trainor and Eldred are on the University football team.
