DALTON, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire attorney general's office says the two men found dead in a Dalton, N.H., home were shot and killed in an apparent murder suicide. A third man was injured.
The attorney general's office says it appears that 45-year-old Christopher Smith shot and killed 48-year-old Joseph Besk then shot and injured 54-year-old Wayne Ainsworth before taking his own life.
Police say the investigation is continuing. Both Besk and Ainsworth were listed on the state's sex offender registry after being convicted of aggravated felonious sexual assault. A story by The Berlin Daily Sun says the two were married in 2010, while Besk was finishing his prison sentence.
