Continued Quiet...

Not much to talk about these days, nothing too abnormal about the temps and we remain in a storm-free stretch.  The high, once again today was above the average high temp of 42...we hit 47.  Tomorrow will be a different story, the highs will be near or slightly above 40 with very little mixing.  The lack of mixing will trap some moisture in the lower layers this will form some clouds late tonight and we will be burning off low clouds in the morning.  Eventually sunshine will win out.

Thursday will be a little wet with some showers rolling through.  As they arrive in the morning, some residual cold may lead to a few icy spots in the interior valleys.  But with the storm center passing by to our west and north, we will be on the warmer side of the storm and once again temps will climb close to 50 by afternoon and plain rain showers will easily win out.  The trailing coldfront will sweep through Friday morning and all day on Friday we will be transitioning into the coldest air of the season.  Blustery conditions will create falling temps on Friday.  Over the weekend, a true Winter feel with highs in the 30s both Saturday and Sunday and an upper level system may produce some flurries on Sunday.
