Conor McGregor Previews UFC Fight Night In Boston On WBZ-AM
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Ultimate Fighting Championship will invade Boston soon, with a pretty good bout coming to town for January's "Fight Night."
UFC featherweight Conor McGregor, aka "The Notorious" when in the Octagon, recently joined WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Adam Kaufman to preview his upcoming fight against Russian Dennis Siver, which will take place on January 18 at the TD Garden.
Tickets to the event are now on sale, with McGregor and Siver the five-round main event of the evening.
For McGregor, who is 4-0 in his UFC career, this will be his second time fighting in Boston after defeating Max Holloway in August 2013. He had some great things to say about the city, the people, and Boston's Irish heritage. Take a listen to the full interview below:
