Coming Up: An Arctic Blast
Cape Cod, the Islands and southern Plymouth and Bristol Counties woke up to some snow Friday morning. Totals will be around the 1-to-3 inch mark besides an isolated 4 inches here or there.

Overall, it will be a sunny day with breezy northwest winds, which will usher in cold air. Highs will only reach the middle 20s.
Temperatures will moderate this weekend before taking a plunge early next week.
Saturday will become mostly sunny with milder highs in the middle 40's.
Sunday will be partly sunny with a chance of a snowflake or raindrop as an arctic front sweeps across New England.
Winds will become gusty, and temperatures will begin to drop.
The Pats game will be a cold one with falling temperatures and gusty winds, which will make it feel even colder. Get ready to bundle up, and grab those hand and seat warmers. You'll need it! Go Pats!
Early next week will be the beginning of the coldest air we have felt so far this season.
Monday's highs will be in the middle 20's along with mostly sunny skies.
Tuesday will include the chance of some coastal snow, especially for southeastern Massachusetts.
Highs will only be in the upper teens to near 20. Temperatures will remain cold through the middle part of the week.
