Colvin On Toucher & Rich: 'Junior Played The Game At A Different Level'
The sudden passing of former NFL great Junior Seau on Wednesday shocked players and sports fans alike.
Seau, 43, spent 20 seasons in the NFL, most recently playing for the New England Patriots from 2006-09. He was a 12-time Pro Bowler and 10-time All-Pro.

Rosevelt Colvin, former Patriots linebacker and teammate of Seau, joined Toucher & Rich to discuss the tragic passing of Seau and how he'll be remembered by people who knew and played with him.
"I knew and had heard of Junior before I had the opportunity to meet him in person," Colvin remembers. "And actually even before that as a child when the video games were simple, when they had the regular Nintendo I used to play with him on Tecmo Bowl."
In remembering the good times, Seau's achievements on the field will stick with teammates and fans, but just how special was Seau on the field?
"There's guys that play the game and there's guys that play the game. Junior played the game at a different level and not just the game, he prepared on a different level."
Colvin remembers when Seau joined the Patriots, "He came in and everyone accepted him with open arms. The Junior that most people know around the league he freelanced a lot, but a lot of that was he did a lot of film study and he knew offensive tendencies and where to be. In the Patriots defense it's a little bit different, Bill doesn't like that type of thing and he morphed and sort of changed his game a little bit because he wanted to be a part of a championship team."

The guys also discussed Seau's commitment and the energy that he brought to the game, from working out before trainers show up to the way he studied film.
"Some guys just go along every day and do what they need to do and get it done, but then you have some people who are just special. Some people who are just different and Junior was one of those guys. Like I said he'll be greatly missed."
