Colonial Mile Marker In Allston Found Damaged
BOSTON (CBS) -- A piece of colonial history that has endured 244 years of change has been severely damaged, but no one is quite sure how.
A mile marker in Allston, first put up in 1767, has been sheared off its base.
It would have been a complex task for vandals, so the damage could be from a car or truck.
The mile marker sits on Harvard Avenue in Allston.
