College Students In Boston Warned Over Crime Increase
BOSTON (CBS) - An increase in robberies has led to a warning for college students living in Boston.
Boston University campus police sent an email to students about safety on and off campus.
WBZ-TV's Paul Burton reports.
The warning states that there's been an increase in street crime around MBTA stops.
While no students have been injured, thieves are targeting items like cell phones and electronic devices.
Students who live in Allston, Brighton, Fenway, and Mission Hill are being asked to make sure their doors and windows are locked when no one is around.
