Cold Winter May Cause First-Ever Delay To Boston Duck Tour Season
BOSTON (CBS) - For the first time of its two decades in business, the start of the season for Boston Duck Tours could be delayed.
The season always starts on the third Monday in March. But this year, the Charles River remains frozen, and Boston Duck Tours C.E.O Cindy Brown says if it doesn't thaw out, the launch will have to be put on hold.

"This year, Mother Nature has certainly thrown wrench in our plans," Brown told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens.
The company looked at the forecast for the next week and a half and has already decided to stop selling tickets through at least March 20.
"There have been previous years, actually, where we felt like we were at this point, but suddenly the skies cleared and the sun came and the river melted," Brown said.
She admits, however, that her optimism is fading with each day.
"I don't see that 60-degree multi-day warm-up coming up that we occasionally get," she said.
