Coast Guard Rescues 77-Year-Old Man Who Went Overboard
BOSTON (CBS) - The Coast Guard pulled a 77-year-old man from the waters off Centerville Beach Monday afternoon.
The man was sailing with his 19-year-old grandson when he went overboard.
The teen aboard the 30-foot boat Morning Light called 911.
A Coast Guard helicopter and boat were immediately launched.
The helicopter moved in and pulled the man from the water.
The man was wearing a life jacket, and the Coast Guard says that probably saved his life.
