Cloudy, Damp, and Dreary

The rain has moved in, and it's here to stay for the next few days.

Check: Current Conditions | Interactive Radar

Rain will be heavy at times today as a cold front heads southeast.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

With onshore winds and cooler air funneling in behind the front, high temperatures will be hanging between 65-70F.

The frontal boundary will be bobbing back and forth which will result in intermittent showers through Thursday.

Highs will continue to hover in the 60's on Wednesday and near 70F on Thursday.

Friday will questionable in terms of how much sunshine we receive.

I believe it could be more cloudy early in the day followed by gradually clearing skies late in the day.

Highs will return to the upper 70's.

This weekend looks pleasant with highs in the middle 70's.

Atlantic Tropical Update:

Hurricane Katia is a CAT 3...125mph winds...moving NW @ 10mph.  Fluctuation in strength is expected before it begins to weaken as it heads toward cooler ocean water and a less favorable environment.  All models are keeping the storm offshore and veering it sharply east on Friday/Saturday away from the East Coast.  There is another tropical wave that has at least a 50-percent chance of becoming our next named storm...'Maria'.
