Clouds & Showers Ahead
It's going to be a gorgeous end tothe workweek. Sunshine along with highs in the 70's/cooler Cape/Islands will top our weather headlines today.

Then, this weekend...
Mother's Day Weekend: It's hard to precisely time the showers that will be hanging around this Mother's Day weekend, but we are going to try our best to nail it down.
An upper level trough will approach the area tonight which will bring southeastern Mass. a chance of showers late tonight.
Otherwise, there will be a chance of scattered showers Saturday, especially during the afternoon. Highs will be around the middle 60's.
On Mother's Day, we can expect partly sunny skies with a slim chance of a few showers, especially coastal Mass.. Highs will be 60-65F, 50s on the coast.
We will need to watch an upper level low off the coast early next week. An upper level ridge will be building while trying to 'push' the low eastward. However, if the ridge is slow to build, we may have coastal showers Monday and Tuesday.
At the moment, I am leaving the Accuweather 7-Day forecast dry from Monday through Thursday. I have more clouds early Monday and again late Tuesday. Highs will hover in the 60's.
We will continue to watch the updated models closely.
