Claude Julien Wins 300th Game As Bruins Coach
BOSTON (CBS) -- Thursday night's win by the Boston Bruins not only propelled them to the top of the Eastern Conference standings, but it was also a bit of a milestone for head coach Claude Julien.
The Bruins' 2-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes was Julien's 300th on the Boston bench. He is second on the Bruins' All-Time win list and a career 419-429-10-84 in 762 career games as a head coach.

But Julien has never been one to boost individual accomplishments, and he wasn't going to start on Thursday night.
"I had no knowledge, and my guys know that it doesn't matter to me," Julien said after the win. "I've said that before. It's great, don't get me wrong. It's great. I'm happy it's happened here, I'm happy to have that. But at the same time for me, I'd like to look forward to hopefully a lot more than just that."
"I'm proud to have accomplished this in Boston," he said. "I think it's great, I've really enjoyed myself here, and I'm looking for, I would say, another 300."
Julien sits behind just one man on Boston's All-Time win list, trailing Art Ross, who won 361 in his 16 seasons as Bruins head coach (1924-45).
