Cigarette Blamed For Dorchester Fire That Caused $1.2 Million In Damages
DORCHESTER (CBS) – Boston fire investigators say the careless disposal of a cigarette is to blame for a fire that tore through three triple deckers in Dorchester on Wednesday.
The fire started on a third floor porch at 10 Fox Street and quickly spread to two neighboring buildings.
It took the work of 150 firefighters to douse all the flames.
The fire caused $1.2 million in damages and displaced 30 residents.
