Church Opposes "Tilted Kilt" In Quincy
QUINCY (CBS) - A Quincy church wants no part of a pub and its sexy waitresses around the neighborhood.
Reverend Richard Cannon claims St. John the Baptist Church was never notified of a proposal to bring Tilted Kilt to the neighborhood.

The restaurant chain is known for its waitresses wearing skimpy kilts and revealing tops.
Under law, a business that sells alcohol cannot be licensed within 500 feet of a school or church. The Tilted Kilt would be closer than that from St. John the Baptist.
Rev. Cannon denounced the proposal in Sunday's church bulletin.
When the restaurant had a hearing before the Quincy Licensing Board earlier this month, things went pretty smoothly. But when the application made it to the ABCC for state approval, it got sent back.
Joseph Shea, the Quincy Licensing Board Chairman says, "It appears the applicant in his submission to the city did not notify the church."
The Tilted Kilt will get another chance with the Licensing Board on August 28.
The Outback Steakhouse, which sold alcohol, was previously in the building being sought by the chain.
