Chinese Restaurant Employee Attacks Woman With Knife, Revere Police Say
REVERE (CBS) -- A man who works at a Chinese food restaurant has been arrested after allegedly attacking a woman with a large knife inside the Revere restaurant on Saturday night.
Officers were called to Jing's Garden on Squire Road around 9:30 p.m.
Police say a person could be heard screaming in pain in the background during the 911 call.
The man attacked a woman who is friends with the restaurant owner, police say.
The woman suffered severe cuts to the face and arm, police said.
She is in stable condition and was in surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital late Saturday night.
Police have not identified the suspect.
It's unclear what charges he may be facing.
