Childress: Moss 'Vomited' On Vikings
BOSTON (CBS) – Randy Moss' time with the Minnesota Vikings last season was brief, but long enough that his former head coach is still upset.
"We had good guys, by and large, (but Moss) walked in the locker room and vomited on it," former Vikings coach Brad Childress said in an interview with NFL.com.
Moss was traded by the Patriots to the Vikings in October last season after voicing his displeasure about his contract situation. Moss was unhappy the team had not offered him an extension, so the Patriots sent him packing before he became a distraction.
Moss was only in Minnesota for a month, finishing his second stint with the Vikings with 13 receptions and two touchdowns. The team went 1-3 during his stay.
The receiver was released by Childress after just four weeks. Childress was fired later in the season.
Childress said in the interview he thought the Minnesota locker room was stable enough to take on Moss' personality, and regrets making the trade.
Moss retired August 1st after 13 NFL seasons.
