Child Protection Agency Examines Case Of Dead NH Toddler
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The head of New Hampshire's Department of Health and Human Services says the agency is examining what it could have done better before the death of a Manchester toddler.
Katlin Paquette was charged Saturday with second-degree murder in the death of her 21-month-old daughter, Sadence Willott. Police had responded to a call to their Manchester home on Sept. 5 and found the child unresponsive. She died the next day at a hospital.
On Thursday, Commissioner Nick Toumpas said the state's child protection agency will examine its role to determine accountability and will implement any necessary changes as quickly as possible.
