Charges Filed In Crash That Killed Curry College Student

BOSTON (CBS) -- Charges have been filed in connection with the crash that killed a Curry College student.

The Norfolk District Attorney's Office said Sunday, the Canton Police department has charged Sean Jackman, 24, of Stoughton, with operating under the influence, motor vehicle homicide, speeding and marked lanes violation.

The arraignment is expected to be held at Boston Medical Center, where Jackman remains hospitalized.

Evan Bard, 20, of Agawam died in the Canton crash.

Bard was in her junior year and was studying nursing. She was also on the school's cheerleading squad.

The District Attorney's office reports that Bard was a passenger in a car that slammed into a wall and a tree Saturday on Bolivar Road in Canton just after midnight.
