Charges Expected After Girl Is Hit By Car In Waltham Crosswalk
BOSTON (CBS) - An 11-year old girl is hospitalized after being struck by a car in Waltham.
Police say the girl had just gotten off an MBTA bus and was in a marked crosswalk when she was hit at the intersection of Main Street, Lunda Street and Nathan Road.

She underwent surgery at Mass General Hospital and is recovering.
Waltham Police anticipate filing charges against the driver.
