Charges Dropped Against Woman Connected To NH Police Shooting
MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) - A woman arrested in connection with a police officer's shooting is no longer facing charges.
Prosecutors dropped the case against 35-year-old Jennifer Whitfield. Investigators said she was the one who drove Myles Webster to the place where he shot a police officer.
She had been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Officer Daniel Doherty was shot several times and is recovering in the hospital.
Webster is being held on $1 million bail.
