Charges Dropped Against Man Accused In NH Jogger Assault

NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) - Police in Nashua, New Hampshire announced Thursday they will drop all charges against a man accused of assaulting a female jogger earlier this month.

The 33-year-old woman reported that she was sexually assaulted on Oct. 14 after 5 a.m. while she was on her morning run on Marie Avenue. Stefan Wollmar, 22, was arrested later that day and charged with the assault.

Police announced Thursday that based on new information that developed in the case, charges against Wollmar will be dropped.

The victim was treated and released from a local hospital the day of the assault.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Nashua police.
