Changes Are Underway
The first change is that we've gone from sunshine to clouds and showers.
The massive area of low pressure that has been hangin' out in the midwest is slowly reaching here.

We will have a couple of rounds of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Highs will still be rather warm in the lower to middle 70s.
Skies will clear out partially overnight tonight.
Most of Friday will be bright and sunny with building cumulus clouds throughout the day.
There could be a brief shower Friday night with the best chance along southeastern Mass.
This Weekend:
The first weekend of October is almost here. Apple and pumpkin picking and leaf peeping top the activities during our Autumn weekends here in New England.
The weekend will turn out mostly dry, but there are a few 'flies in the ointment.'
There will be the chance of a few afternoon showers on Saturday, especially north and west of the city.
As the area of low pressure starts to move farther north and east on Sunday, our chances of rain are reduced.
High temperatures will go from the upper 60s on Saturday to only about 60F by Sunday.
