1 Dead In Cement Truck Crash On Route 1 In Foxboro
FOXBORO (CBS) – Part of Route 1 in Foxboro was shut down Tuesday morning after a fatal crash involving a car and a cement mixer.
Police say 34-year-old Matthew Gallagher of Walpole was killed when he failed to stop for a red light. Gallagher was traveling in an Infiniti sedan on North Street and entered Route 1 where he was hit by the cement truck.
State Police shut down the southbound side of the road at North Street for about an hour after the accident, which happened just before 10 a.m.
